What this covers

This explains how gepyu.com (the “site”) and play.gepyu.com, which runs the games, handle personal information. Browsing the site creates no account. Google sign-in and guest leaderboard submissions in supported games use the information described below.

What we collect

When you sign in

  • Your Google account identifier and email address. The only scopes requested from Google are basic sign-in information (email, profile). Nothing else — no contacts, no calendar.
  • A nickname. One is generated for you at sign-up, and you can change it on the account page.
  • Your preferred language (Korean or English).

When you play

  • Game saves and a short progress summary. Each slot keeps the current save plus a few earlier ones.
  • Records you submit to a leaderboard: the score, the board, the time of submission, the game build number, and any detail the game sends with it, such as equipment or items.

When you submit as a guest (supported games)

  • In games marked for automatic submission on the play screen, each finished run is submitted without a confirmation step. Other games submit only when you press the submit button.
  • We create a guest identifier and an assigned gamer name to group results from the same browser. No Google account or email address is required.
  • We store the completed result, ranking values such as time and score, equipment details and game version. Cloud saves remain available only to signed-in members.
  • Creating a guest session uses Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent automated submissions. It connects to Cloudflare, which may process your IP address and browser information. This check is not loaded when you only browse the site or view a leaderboard.

Otherwise

  • Server access logs (time, requested path, IP address and similar), used to run the service and investigate errors.
  • No advertising, no visitor analytics, no tracking cookies.

What is public

Public leaderboards show your nickname, score, submission time, game build number and record detail to anyone, signed in or not.

Guests appear on the same leaderboard under their assigned name, with a guest label and the game’s time/score values. Internal member and guest identifiers and authentication information are not public.

Your email address and your game saves are never public. Saves and your own record list are visible only to you.

Your nickname is a public name, so do not use your real name or anything you would rather not have seen.

Staying signed in

Your session is kept in your browser’s local storage. No tracking cookies are used. Signing out, or clearing site data in your browser, removes it.

Guest ranking credentials are stored separately from your member session. Clearing browser data prevents you from continuing as the same guest; it does not delete results already on the server. Signing in or out does not automatically transfer or delete guest records.

Embedded video (YouTube)

Longer videos on a game page are hosted on YouTube and shown inside the page.

  • Nothing is requested from YouTube until you press play. The still image you see beforehand is a file from this site.
  • Pressing play loads the player, and from that moment your IP address and device details may reach Google. Google’s own policy applies from then on.
  • We use the reduced-tracking youtube-nocookie.com address.

The short clips that play on a game cover are files on our own server, so they involve no outside request.

Who processes the data, and where

Processor Purpose Location
Google LLC Google account sign-in Per that provider
Supabase Account, save and leaderboard database Singapore
The Constant Company (Vultr) Web server hosting Seoul, South Korea
Cloudflare Domain name lookup (DNS), anti-bot checks when creating guest sessions (Turnstile) Global
Google LLC (YouTube) Playing an embedded video (only once you press play) Per that provider

Because the database is in Singapore, account, save and record data is stored outside your country.

How long it is kept

  • Account details and leaderboard records are kept while the account exists.
  • Saves are kept up to a fixed number per slot; older ones are removed automatically as you save again.
  • Deleting your account also deletes your nickname, saves and submitted records, and removes them from public leaderboards.

What you can do

  • Change your nickname and language yourself on the account page.
  • See your saves and your records on a game’s “Progress” tab and on the account page.
  • Ask us to delete your account, or to show you or send you a copy of what is stored, using the contact below.

The site is not directed at children under 14 and has no separate consent process for them.
